Since the launch of the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung is claimed to be working on its flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S24. Although the company raised expectations about the upcoming devices, the leaks say the reverse. Now, the charging speeds of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series have been revealed, but we don’t see any improvements compared to its predecessor. Here are the details about the Samsung Galaxy S24 charging speeds…
Samsung Galaxy S24 series will have similar charging speeds to the S23 series
According to the latest CCC certification reports in China, Samsung will introduce the S24 series with 45W charging. We can see that the company has passed the CCC certification process in China with the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. When we look at the revealed reports, we can understand that Samsung doesn’t bring any improvements in terms of charging speeds, and is stuck at a 45W charging rate.
The leaks reveal that Samsung won’t increase charging speeds on its upcoming flagship smartphones. The Galaxy S24 (SM-S9210) will feature 25W fast charging (9V/2.77A), similar to the Galaxy S23. The Galaxy S24+ (SM-S9260) and the Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S9280) will be equipped with up to 45W fast charging (11V/4.05A).
If these are true, we can assume that the S24 series will not have any advantages in terms of charging rates, and it won’t be charged faster than the Galaxy S23 series. While other Android manufacturers launch high charging rates, we don’t know why Samsung keeps not improving these rates.
Now, let’s take a look at the leaked specifications. The Galaxy S24 phones will run on either the Exynos 2400 processor or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy chip. In China and the US, you might find the Snapdragon version, while other places will likely have the Exynos 2400 version.
